Hardraw Force

Today has been a really good day! I love weekends spent exploring (and eating). Today we headed the other way, away from the Lake District and in to the Yorkshire Dales. We walked up to Hardraw Force which is a waterfall in Hardraw, a small village a few miles away from Hawes. To get to the waterfall you have to pay £2.50 as you pass through a little cafe located directly behind the Green Dragon pub, for those of you thinking of going take some cash with you! It was so pretty today with all the leaves turning yellow and orange for Autumn – perfect walking weather. We then drove to Hawes and had a wonder around, stopped at the chippy and then couldn’t walk cause we had eaten so much (when will we ever learn!). We did however manage to make it up the hill to the Wensleydale cheese factory for a quick mooch around before they shut but we couldn’t manage any cheese surprisingly. Hope you enjoyed my pictures, I love them and gagh I love Autumn so much! L.
