10 Places I Need To See Before I Turn 30

Travel has always been a huge passion of mine. I feel as though travel and visiting new places is something everyone should do, regardless of their income and background. I’ve been very fortunate enough to see a number of places around the world, opening my eyes to different cultures, religions and lifestyles. Travel and exploration is something that may eat in to your pocket but is by far the most life changing and beneficial thing anybody can do. If you’re hesitant on whether you should book your next trip away, do it. You’ll save the money up somehow and 100% will not regret the experience and memories it will bring.

Mauritius – I first discovered this place over on Sarah Ashcroft’s snapchat. To be honest, I had never even heard of the place but after doing some research, this place is top of the list for a quiet, well deserved, relaxing holiday. I’m not sure what quite does it for me, perhaps the turquoise sea and secluded beaches?

Bali – Who doesn’t want to go to Bali? I mean this looks like what dreams are made of. Little wooden shacks, surrounded by dense jungle. Besides from all the insects, this would be my ultimate chill out.

Chiang Mai – Although I visit Thailand almost every year, I am yet to visit Chiang Mai. What draws me to this city in Northern Thailand is the elephant jungle sanctuary, where you can play, feed and swim with these beautiful animals.

Amalfi Coast – Sheer cliffs and colourful fishing villages.. the perfect honey moon escape or even better, the place I would love to get married. I’ve visited Italy a number of times and have loved it every single time. I can only imagine that the Amalfi Coast will leave me speechless.

Morocco – Purely for the stunning architecture, colourful markets and the blue city. Every single photo of Morocco makes this country look enticing. I imagine it being like no other country, completely unique.

Banff – My gran recently had a visit from a lady she met when she was 21, who is from a small town in Canada, Golden. They talked about a national park near their town called Banff which I googled and fell in love with straight away. It is so magical and jaw droppingly beautiful.

New York – Every girls dream is to visit NYC right? I would love to go during the winter months and visit the cities most famous sights.

Santorini – an island that remains due to a volcanic eruption. Black sand and white buildings make up this island in Greece with the most stunning sunsets and breathtaking views.

Nepal – I don’t know what it is about this country but it seems like a place I have to tick off my bucket list. A country which comes across as very peaceful and content.

Norway – similar to Banff with its open lakes and green shrubbery that makes up this clean, stunning country. It was always a dream of mine to explore Europe in a van, stuffed with sleeping bags and plenty of food.
