Shopping Spree Sunday’s

Morning babes! How was your weekend? I can’t believe we had snow last week and now the weather is so fabulous! I had a massive clear out on Thursday and got rid of 5 bin bags of clothes so yesterday Josh and I headed to the Trafford Centre to refresh our wardrobes. The weather was glorious which meant the shopping centre was quiet. I forgot how tiring shopping is and how much I hate shopping in Zara store! Everything is so messy and all the shoes and bags are scattered everywhere so I gave up looking for some pretty sandals and a hand bag that I really wanted, I guess I’ll have to do an online order now! However, I did manage to pick a couple things up ready for the warmer weather and hopefully a summer holiday! I tried this baby blue dress on and it was so pretty without the jeans on! I also bought a few new beauty products from Selfridges using my gift cards from work for being ‘star of the month’ a short while ago, I still can’t get over how much make up is! Ridiculous prices! Later, we had a really yummy lunch at ‘Pesto’, it was Italian food served as tapas so we had six different dishes. Our favourite was the Frutti di mare gratinati! Sauté king prawns and scallops in white wine, with tomatoes, basil, mascarpone cheese with a breadcrumb and gran moravia crust – it was super delicious I could eat it again! The other dishes were tasty but we weren’t too keen on the pasta dish I chose, bad choice from me! This morning I dropped dad off at the station as he’s back in London working until the end of the week and then he and Alex fly to Thailand next Wednesday! It doesn’t feel like 5 minutes ago I was waving them off at Oxenholme station last April in floods of tears. What am I like! Now, I have a week off work and lots of stuff to sort through so I feel organised for Summer approaching! Speak soon, L.
